Click on the Quote tab after opening the job for which you need to create a quote.
The system will navigate you to the New Quote page, choose a quote template from the template drop-down box. Click here on how to create a quote template.
Next, click the drop-down box to allocate the Sprintsuite contact (Company staff member) to be listed as the contact regarding the quote.
Quotation for section holds a list of charge-out rates (items and their charges) for common charges you would like to appear in the drop-down list when entering line items for your quote.
If you have not supplied us a CSV list of items and their charges and would like to use this feature please supply this CSV to your Sprintsuite support.
There is no word limit for the Assumptions and Qualifications section. This section can be used to provide more information about your title.
There is no word limit for the Inclusions and Exclusions section. If necessary, you can add a scope of works in this section.
Press Save Details.
The system will then navigate you to the line items screen to add/edit sections of the quote and apply values.
The maintenance tab of the quote allows adding additional items like mobilized labour/fuel/plant or vehicle hire to select from the description drop-down and costings around the supply of these items, as well as a description of rate per shift. Here you can update the quote with units, hrs per shift, number of shifts, unit cost price, and unit. Click Save once complete.
The mobilization tab of the quote allows you to add charges for mobilized labour of specific trades on an hourly based charge-out rate.
Use the Description drop-down box to specify the type of mobilization being quoted (the drop-down box will be populated with charge-out rates that you supplied previously in CSV)
The Units section describes how many people/units
The Trips section refers to how many days will be allocated for the mobilization (shifts)
Hrs section can be used to nominate the billable hours of labour
Add the Unit Cost Price
And the unit price is the price per hour / per trip for the labour
Press Save item to finalize the labour charge onto the quote
You can manually type item descriptions in the quote's consumables section. You manually enter the line item, apply a rate per unit, and any margins you want to include in the charge. Click on Save Item after entering the unit cost price and unit price.
Once you are happy with the quote, click on the Actions button at the top of the quote and press Save this Version.
This will version the Quote for you, so any future changes that are made and then saved will create more versions.
To see a previous version of your quote press the versions button.
The expected revenue Excl GST on this job appears at the top of the Quote section, this figure also filters through to the Invoice Tab, as well as the Financials Tab that calculates your live P & L.
To export a copy of your quote click the Actions button. You have an option of three different headings Quotation, Estimation, and Variation, as well as two different financial displays Summary and Detail. The summary only shows the description and total of each item, Detail view shows all details including unit cost, it will not show the cost price.
