Let's go through the process of creating a Workshop Job or alternatively please watch our video.
Click on Create Job, then fill in your job details by selecting your client, status, location, start and finish date of the job, your client contact or add a new one, a custom job colour, and any PO's or work order numbers if you have any. Choose the primary department for which you want to track your profit and loss. Even though a workshop job does not require you to mobilise, you must still select a department on the left. However, you can still mobilise on workshop jobs if you want the job pushed to their staff app.
There are six options for signing off as you scroll to the bottom. Click on Workshop Sign Off to start a new workshop job. Click Save Changes once you have finished entering all of your job-related information.
Important-Once you select a sign off type other than bulk sign off, you will not be able to edit this in the future.
To complete a timesheet, your staff must log in and enter their Employee ID. Employee IDs can be given to staff by admin users, and they can be found in the Basic Information tab of each employee's profile.
Staff can also access it on their own by signing onto the staff app, going to MY ACCOUNT, and looking under the heading Basic Information.
Your regular URL will work for workshop timesheets; all you need to do is add workshop/login at the end.After entering your Employee ID, click Log In.
After logging in, select Add Job to add times against.
Choose from the list of tasks that you completed already.
After choosing your jobs, scroll down and select Add Job(s).
To record the times you finished work for the jobs you choose, click the plus sign.
After clicking the Plus, select your time from the drop down lists, add in comments and select Save.
The system will calculate your total hours for you after you have entered your times. Click Submit Timesheet when you are completed.
When you successfully submit your timesheet, the following pop-up screen will appear. It will automatically log you out after three seconds.
