The Staff Times tab enables your team to track, edit, and link internal, external, and workshop timesheets for your administrative, mobilized, and workshop staff.
You have the option to filter timesheet results using these criteria:
- Individual staff members
- Start date
- End date
- Type (productive / non-productive)
- Job ID
- Non-productive staff type
- Department
- Status
- Shift type
- Trade
- Responsible staff
To manually enter a timesheet for a staff member, follow these steps:
Upon logging in, select "Staff Times." To add time, choose between productive time (linked to a job) and non-productive time (unlinked to a job) after clicking "Add Time."
Clicking "Producing Time" triggers a screen where you input details. Choose staff, shift, trade, job number, start/end time, comments, and save. A confirmation popup appears after saving.
Clicking "Non-Producing Time" displays a pop-up. Pick staff, non-producing type, start/end date, start/end time, comments (if any), and save.
To approve a timesheet, follow these steps:
To approve multiple entries at once, select the checkbox at the upper left corner adjacent to "Staff." By default, only red unapproved timesheets will appear in red. For individual approvals, simply mark the checkbox next to the respective staff member's name.
Next, click the "Actions" button and opt for "Approve time." A pop-up will appear, confirming the successful approval of the entries.
The timesheets have been successfully updated and approved, as indicated by the green checkmark under the "Approved" section.
To edit a timesheet on behalf of a staff member, follow these steps:
Editing is only possible for timesheets that are in an unapproved status. To edit, simply click on the pencil icon located on the right side of the timesheet you intend to modify.
Make the necessary edits to the timesheet and then click "Save." A pop-up will appear confirming that the timesheet has been successfully updated.
Follow these steps on how to edit a previously approved timesheet.
To reverse the approval of a timesheet (in order to edit and reapprove), mark the checkbox on the left of the desired timesheet. Next, click the "Actions" button, and select "Unapprove time."
Subsequently, proceed to edit the timesheet by clicking the pencil icon located on the right side of the timesheet you intend to modify.
Make the required adjustments to the timesheet and then select "Save." A popup notification will appear confirming the successful update.You can now follow the steps mentioned earlier to proceed with the timesheet approval.
