Obtain necessary access: Speak to your manager or the administrator responsible for granting access in roles and permissions within the admin portal. Request access to the necessary roles and permissions that allow you to create leave requests on behalf of your staff. This can be found under settings>roles and permissions>staff times permissions>leave requests tab.
Navigate to the staff times section: Locate the relevant section in the admin portal where staff times and leave requests are managed.
The leave requests tab: Within the staff times section, locate the tab or menu option specifically dedicated to managing leave requests. This tab is where you will be able to view and create leave requests for your staff.
Create a leave request: Once you're in the leave requests tab, you should see a "Create Leave Request" button to initiate the process of creating a new leave request. Click on the button to proceed.
Fill in the necessary details: A form or a series of fields will appear where you can enter the required information for the leave request. This may include the staff member's name, dates of leave, type of leave (e.g., annual leave, sick leave), reason, and any additional notes or attachments if applicable. Fill in the relevant details accurately.
The leave request: After entering all the required information, review the leave request to ensure accuracy. Once you're satisfied, submit the request by clicking on a "Submit Request" button. The leave request will then be recorded in the system for further processing.
Leave approval: To approve the leave request, make sure you have been set up as a leave approver for the department or team. Please click here on how to set up leave approvers per department.
After your leave approval, a pop-up window will prompt you to confirm the authorization. Once confirmed, your modifications will be saved, and the staff scheduler will update to reflect themThis will greatly facilitate the organization of your mobilizations.
