Important: You must be a super admin user to set a leave approver for a department.
If you are not, consult with a super admin user, and refer to this article should they need assistance.

As a Super Admin User, you must make sure that Read and Write is enabled under Roles and Permissions under Department Permissions in order to have access to approve leave requests.
After logging in, select Departments. Click on the Leave Approvers tab when you click Edit next to your department's name.
Select the staff members you wish to have access to receive leave requests and decide whether to approve or reject them by clicking on the arrow down to populate a list of all employees. (The same employee may approve a leave request across multiple divisions.)
Upon choosing your staff member, select Add Leave Approver. Next, a pop-up message stating "Leave approvers added successfully" will show. Now, whenever a request for a leave of absence is made, the chosen staff member will be notified through email.
